position summary:

You will ensure the Programmes directorate technical support for commercial activities to deliver aircraft on time and in conformity with customer requirements. 

main responsabilities:

The Sales Support Manager & OCD is within the Programmes directorate of the ATR Chief Engineer division and reports to the Head of Sales Support and OCD manager of the ATR PES department.
The Sales Support Manager and OCD is in charge, through cross-functional management (non-hierarchical) of:
  • Elaborating the technical content of MSCNs,
  • Elaborating and updating the technical-commercial documentation,
  • Elaborating the customised specifications of new aircraft depending on customer needs and providing support for the preparation of answers to Request For Proposal (RFP),
  • Coordinating and elaborating pre-feasibilities
  • Determining customer needs and preparing and following up RFCs
  • Determining the cabin layout
  • Preparing the technical content of SCNs,
  • Preparing delivery dossiers,
  • Providing technical support to the commercial directorate
  • Supporting product development activities
  • Proposing product development activities to be in conformity with customer requirements and the market. 

key skills / key personal attributes / experience required:

 As the successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and competencies:
  • Aeronautical Engineer (5-year degree) or equivalent with at least 3 years of experience in the Design Office
  • General knowledge of embedded systems (large aircraft category, CS25)
  • Skills in terms of aeronautical regulations (CS25, Air-Ops, FAR 121) and DOA
  • Knowledge of aircraft customisation
  • Knowledge of aircraft configuration management
  • Ability to present, discuss, understand, formalise and summarise the customers' needs
  • Basic knowledge of project management
  • Basic knowledge of risk management within a project.
  • Basic knowledge of economic factors
  • English: intermediate level
  • French: intermediate level
  • Proficiency with MS Office, CISCO Webex, BDRM, RAMCS, GALAC, Adobe Illustrator
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional mode

This role will involve occasional business trips (a few times per year, for one-week missions).
