position summary:

Within ATR’s Engineering Quality Directorate, you will join the DOA Independent monitoring department, and will work as a DOA Independent Monitoring Engineer.
Your main missions will be:
  • Participating and contributing in the compliance with PART21 European regulations (subpart J “DOA” and others) throughout the ATR DOA Organisation;
  • Contributing to the efficient independent monitoring of the DOA in terms of process, procedures, Organisation and Authorized signatories as per audits/assessments with respect to the European Authority requirements;
  • Contributing to the findings/non-conformities closure (EASA, internal and external) in collaboration with all DOA stakeholders
  • Providing DOA training for all stakeholders;
  • You will be based in Toulouse

main responsabilities:

You main tasks will include:
  • Preparing and performing internal audits/samplings and external audits/assessments in case of Design Partners/Subcontractors signature delegation;
  • Preparing EASA audits in collaboration with the DOA stakeholders;
  • Following up on EASA and internal and external findings, in collaboration with all DOA stakeholders;
  • Updating the Handbook and compiling data in compliance with PART21 regulations;
  • Contributing to the follow-up of the DOA significant changes with involved DOA people;
  • Performing training for new resources involved in the DOA activities, as well as the Authorized Signatories including Compliance Verification Engineers and Airworthiness delegates;
  • Participating in the regular updates of the Authorized Signatories process including signatories lists
  • Writing, updating and reviewing DOA procedures.

key skills / key personal attributes / experience required:

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
  • Engineering degree;
  • At least 5 years of experience in engineering activities and in the aeronautical industry;
  • Experience in DOA activities linked to DOA monitoring & surveillance (manufacturing experience would be appreciated);
  • Good knowledge of Part 21 regulations and Part 21 Subpart J (DOA) in particular
  • Experience in engineering quality and audit activities;
  • Proficient user of MS Office;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Good analytical and synthesis skills;
  • Good negotiation skills;
  • English & French: negotiation level
