ATR Descend Upon the Summit of CAPA
Today marks the first day of CAPA’s 2017 Australia Pacific Aviation & Corporate Travel Summit, the largest event of its kind, and ATR will be in attendance. Sponsored by key regional players such as Qantas and Sydney Airport, experienced figures from airlines and airports across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands, have gathered in Sydney to discuss the latest trends and developments within the industry.
CAPA is the Centre for Aviation and they specialise in analysis and decision making for the aviation industry. The CAPA Summit agenda has an overall theme of ‘Adaptive Aviation and Travel Strategies in Australia and New Zealand.’ It is comprised of a variety of unique strands which provide a clearer analysis of the market trends associated with such areas as general aviation, airports and their need for innovation, the corporate travel sector, developments in payments possibilities, an examination of the outlook for travel in China and Asia and airline distribution and selling.
High profile, large scale events such as these, offer ATR’s staff an excellent opportunity to benefit from the expertise of key figures within the Australasian market, who are offering detailed analysis on trends and developments within this market which our staff can use to better understand the needs of our customers. With over 800 attendees it is also an excellent networking opportunity for our staff to make connections with key figures within the local market that can facilitate future business. Both of these components are useful in supporting ATR’s desire to remain the global leader of regional aviation.
